Moist alkaline meadows and flats at outer valley margins, 0-2% slope. Occurs with Distichlis stricta, Carex praegracilis, Pyrrocoma lanceolata, Thelypodium paniculatum, Juncus balticus, Atriplex gardneri. Silt loam.
