Description
Shrub, to 3.5 m. tall, 6 cm. in diameter, the single erect trunk very spiny, the branches few, arching-spreading; leaves yellowish green, especially when young; most leaves small but some larger leaves on branches; seems to be reaching end of growing season, many other plants in vicinity with only small, entire leaves. No flowers; fruit on erect, curved rachises, the inflorescences several (4-ca. 7) along branch below the leaves; fruits green, hard, globose, to 20 mm in diam. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
