Habitat
Moist sandy flats along the river and dry benches [beaches?] and slopes at margins. Adjacent hillsides with tropical deciduous forest. Scarce. Growing on gravel bars along the river.

A subshrub 1 m high; fls. greenish white with yellow anthers. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
