Habitat
This plant in low restinga. Mixed restinga vegetation on sand, with high forest, low trees and shrubs, and sedge meadows with open wet areas on white sand.

Description
Woody climber to 10 m. Leaves coriaceous, mid green paler below. Fruiting sepals yellow-green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
