Mexico. Jalisco. Right on boundary line with Edo. de Colima. On middle elevation, steep W-facing slopes of Cerro Grande, a massive limestone (Cenomanian - U. Cretaceous) plateau 18-50 km NW of Colima. 6.8 km by rd. (3 km by air) due SW of El Terrero on rd. down to Los Sauces, 33 km (by air) NW of Colima.

Habitat
Ruderal. Scrubby chaparral vegetation (bosque tropical deciduo, with Lysiloma microphylla dominant). One plant. Rd. edge gravel.

Description
Small coarse branching shrub, 1 m high; frts. orange, covered with light brown hairs, 31-42 (27-37, not incl. the hairs) mm in diam. when fresh. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
