Mexico. Colima. Comala Mun. Rancho El Jabali, 22 km (airline) NNW of Colima in the SW foothills of the Volcán de Colima. Canyon above Lago El Jabali.

Habitat
Natural vegetation is humid montane (cloud) forest. Cloud forest with understory largely removed and area planted to coffee. Dominant trees Fraxinus uhdei, Celtis monoica, Inga eriocarpa, and Prunus. Scarce.

Description
A 6-7 m high tree, 11 cm d.b.h.; fls. blue. Unripe berries green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
