Description
solitary. Pileus11 cm broad, convex, dry, pale tan to grayish tan, finely matted, slowly light brown when bruised, with incurved, irregular margin. Flesh white, bluing when exposed, with mild odor and bitter taste. Hymenophore adnato-adnexed, yellow, bluing when bruised. Stipe 13 x 2.5 cm, +/-equal to barely subclavate, glabrous, yellow at apex, red to rhubarb red below, white at base, with interior white above, brownish in the base, solid, changing to blue when exposed.
