United States of America. Iowa. Worth Co. A ditch occurs adjacent to the gravel road approximately 2 mi E of Kensett. The soil is mapped as Tilfer silty clay loam, 0 to 2 percent slopes (695), a calcareous Typic Haplaquoll. The ditch is on the Iowan Surface.

Associated with Cardamine bulbosa, Carex hystericina, C. interior, Eleocharis sp., Equisetum arvense, Lysimachia ciliata, L. quadriflora, Pycnanthemum virginianum and Selaginella eclipes. On top of saturated mineral soil.
