Grazed thickets, parts inundated at times but probably not saline as are the flats with Avicennia germinans on the other side of the road. On mud of dried-up pond.

Description
Erect, 3-15 dm. tall, at first herbaceous, then woody below and tending to become scrambling or viny. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
