  • Description

    Stems clustered, 4 m tall, 0.8 cm diameter. Sheaths greenish-brown with densely arranged, flattened, brown spines; knee present; ocrea present, densely bristly; flagellum present; petiole 22 cm long; rachis 16 cm long; pinnae 4 per side of rachis, widely spaced. Inflorescences 2 m long, flagellate, with 4 partial inflorescences; bracts of partial inflorescences bristly at apex. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
