Habitat
Growing on south-facing slope below edge of mesa. In disturbed oak woods with Quercus chihuahuensis, Dasylirion, Agave bovicornuta, Solanum tridynanum, Lithospermum discolor, Senna hirsuta, and Begonia gracilis. Uncommon.
