Annotation Label Pet. Amy Honan <^2<n>v Marasmiellus nigripes (Schw.) Sing. DEPT. BENI: Prov. Gral. José Balllvian, along banks of Rio Beni, S of Rurrenabaque, between Rurrenabaque and junction of Rio Tuichi. Approx 67°30’W, 14°25’S. Cap - oa. 3 mm broad, pure white, pruinose or mealy coated, rugulose, radiately ridged, the margin incurved and the general form convex. Stipe- up to 14 mm tall, 1/3 mm in diam. below, broadening to about 1/2 mm above, black at the slightly discoid base, the dark color not reaching the middle of the stem or, alternatively» stipe dark for up to 3/4 of its length. Stipe surface with a light mealy or pruinose coat, the structure itself slightly twisted, ^ilis - adnate, specimens all young. Xn specimens from this collection "that matured in a moist chamber, gills remained adnate. 2 ranged, the short gills irregular, larger gills forked. Specimens in moi st cnamber. Cap up to 5 mm in diam., all white, with a^eentral depress!011 andthe margin^downturned Surface slightly irregular, but: with noticeable radial ridges.
