    Dense creeping perennial forming mats 5 cm tall, to 1 m across. Leaves hairy, silvery. Flowers lemon yellow. Dead leaves remain under living surface of cussion. Woody branches spreading to 20 cm or more across ground. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
