Habitat
Very steep, partly disturbed slope in cloud forest. Common.

Description
Single-stemmed shrubs to 5 m. tall, up to 15 cm. in diameter at the base, few-branched. Leaves up to 60 cm. long on young plants. Calyx and corolla a similar blue color on inside. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
