    Along small drain and road edges, gentle N-facing slope. With mostly cheatgrass, some Oryzopsis hymenoides, Atriplex, Gutierrezia. Pale tan sandy soil.

  • Description

    6 plants along drain, 0.8-1 m tall, ± 10-20 stems/plant; flowers (1-) 2-3/invol., perianth pale pink-lavender, darker in center, 22 mm diam., 1° notch 5 mm, 2° 3 mm (or white, 15 mm diam.); filaments pale to deep pink-lavender; stamens 4, curling after style (10 AM). Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
