20° E-facing windblown sandy slopes below ridgeline of basaltic
outcrops. Soft pumice soil with Holodiscus microphyllus,
Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Angelica linearifolia, Artemisia
indentata, Purshia tridentata, Prunus emarginata.
Abundant on sandy leeward slope.
