    Tree, 8 m tall; stems with ca. 0.5 cm long thorns; flowers with violet corolla, column of clustered yellow anthers, ca. 1.5 cm tall; fruit light green with darker green striations, globose, ca. 1 cm in diameter. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
