Upper elevation of rain forest. Upland, high canopy (25 m) rain forest; Clinostigma ponapensis, Myristica insularis, Fragraea berteroana etc.

Description
Tree, 12 m tall, just downslope of cave, N facing aspect, growing near small stream; trunk resembling strangler fig but not parasitic, syconium yellow- orange when ripe; white sap.
