Habitat
Edge of forest and extending into palm savanna. Dominated by thorny shrubs and small trees.

Description
Slender tree to 4 m tall. Corolla lilac turning dark purple at maturity. Fruits green turning dark purple at maturity. Foliage with a deep tobacco-like odor when crushed. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
