Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Cordillera Prov. Along highway from Santa Cruz to Abapó, 8 km S of Basilio.

Habitat
At slight rise in highway, sandy, disturbed chaco forest. With Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Pterogyne nitens, Caesalpinia pluviosa, Trigonia boliviana and Chamissoa acuminata and with much Cnidoscolus cnicodendron and Gomphrena vaga along right-of-way.

Description
Shrub 2 m. tall, the young leaves grayish green above. Inflorescence erect; flowers nodding; corolla violet; fruit green, held erect. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
