Habitat
Flat, disturbed chaco thorn scrub along highway, railroad and oleoducto. With Capparis speciosa, Pereskia sacharosa, Solanum argentinum. Common, at least in disturbed areas along highway right-of-way.

Shrubs 1-2 m tall. Leaves wilting. Fruit light orange-yellow. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
