Habitat
Village path/agroforest. Tropical atoll consisting of 46 small islands surrounding a 5 mile wide lagoon. Most islands uninhabited but all planted with coconut. Typical Pacific beach strand/littoral forest vegetation mixed with agroforest trees (coconut, breadfruit).

Description
Shrub to 1.5 m; showy flowers, white petals, purple towards center; 2 anthers with slits; leaves glabrous; growing at edge of agroforest in center of main island.
