Habitat
Atoll littoral forest. Tropical atoll consisting of 46 small islands surrounding a 5 mile wide lagoon. Most islands uninhabitated but all planted with coconut. Typical Pacific beach strand/littoral forest vegetation mixed with agroforest trees (coconut, breadfruit).

Fern to 0.5 m; creeping rhizomes.
