United States of America. Nevada. Elko Co. Along a ranch road that passes over the dam of Deep Creek Reservoir, 7.9 km (4.9 mi) west of the north-south road along the west side of the Bull Run Mountains, 34 km (21 mi) air distance north-northwest of Tuscarora.

Habitat
Among scattered shrubs of Artemisia tridentata, Tetradymia, Grayia spinosa, and herbs of Conringia orientalis and Allium acuminatum. Locally common. In soft loamy clay soil.

Petals widely spreading to slightly reflexed. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
