Bolivia. La Paz. Inquisivi Prov. Forested slope of the lower Cerro Chamaquiri N of the Río Khatu. Area known as Huanahawira. Ca. 2 km SW of Quime.

Habitat
Humid ceja de montaña forests. Humid and frequently clouded. Roadside on sunny side of valley. With abundant small trees including Weinmannia, Hesperomeles, Myrsine and Gyunosyx. Alnus acuminata at tree line.

Woody shrub. Petals white (closing after being picked in many cases), ca. 2 m. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
