Bolivia. La Paz. Inquisivi Prov. "Pavionani" - On the slopes above the Pavionani Fork of the Río Chimu below the headwaters divide with the Río Janko Kalani. Two herders huts are in the area 7 km N. of Choquetanga.

The ultimate patches of forest at treeline, found in protected patches over steep boulder piles, at the base of cliffs and in the gulch of the river. In isolated woodland. Common.

Description
Small tree. About 2-4 m high. Fruits abundant, appearing like bunches of grapes from a distance. Single trunk form with tree-like top. Fruits pendent. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
