Description
Tree, 40 m x 100 cm. above plant buttresses. Plank buttresses 4 m high x 1 m deep x 10 cm thick; lvs in bud only; profuse flowers; calyx reddish, petals white within, marked with red without; the one outermost in bud dark reddish without, lighter within; staminal apparatus and corolla caducous, greenish-white at base, margin and claw dark red shading to deep cerise, incoiled portion which shades to white on lobes of outer part. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
