Wet cliff face, shaded. Old-growth, hilltop forest fragment surrounded by sakau plantations below; Large cliff section; Very rocky unstable soil; High canopy (20-25 m) dominated by Elaeocarpus carolinensis; Very shaded understory with Pandanus (sp. dubious?) and Clinostigma palms abundant in midstory; East-facing slope aspect; Very moist conditions, esp. on cliff face; Hill top identified on map as Dolen Nankep.

Creeping herb; runners sprouting roots at nodes; Spikes lignt green, dark gray bracts; leaves slightly succulent.
