Habitat
Mostly scrub-chapparal, with a few seepages and small swamps along the river.

Description
Sparingly branched vine, climbing to 3.5 m.; stem thin but very strong. Lvs deep green above, pale below. Corolla pale lavender. Fr. pale green, with dark green mottlings, especially above, becoming nigrescent-green near maturity. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
