Description
A handsome unarmed shrub 12-15 dm. high, the branches and leaves hoary with stellate tomentum. Leaves green above, white beneath, ovate-lanceolate, solitary or often geminate, one of them smaller, 3-8 cm. long, 1-2½ cm. wide; petioles about 5 mm. long. Flowers white, numerous, in small axillary cymes. Berries small, black. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
