    Flowers pale violet; inflorescence branched; calyx large. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.

    "Forty individual plants collected ± at random in a population, 25 are S. tripartitum Dunal (32057-a to -y), 11 are S. palitans C. V. Morton (32059-a to -k) and 4 seem to be intermediate (32058-a to -d)."
