Colombia. Antioquia. Vic. Planta Providencia, 28 kms SW of Zaragoza. Valley of Río Anorí in areas surrounding the confluence of Quebrada La Tirana and Río Anorí, approx. 3 km upriver from Planta Providencia. On NW facing slopes on east side of river.

Primary/old secondary forest. Tropical Wet/Very Wet Forest Transition Zone. Rainfall approx. 4400mm/year.

Description
Shrub to 2 m tall with strong odor from broken or bruised parts. Corolla white, stamens yellow. Fruits pale green with fuzzy hairs. Undersides of leaves very pale. Leaves soft and without spines. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
