Colombia. Huila. Cordillera Oriental. Ridge between Quebrada la Candela and Río Naranjo, 18 km. s.w. of San Agustín.

Habitat
Near clump of woods on hilltop. Cleared land used as pasture but largely overgrown. With Pteridium and clumps of Baccharis and other bushes.

Description
Small flat-topped tree, branches only at extreme top of trunk which is leafy from half-way up; stem-leaves large pinnately lobed; fruit immature, pendent, said to be yellow when ripe. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
