Tropical evergreen forest on low hills of unconsolidated sediments and edges along river. In damp ravine.

Description
Erect herb. Stem and petioles with fine white speckles. Flowers nodding, odorless; calyx greenish white; anthers yellow. Fruit first erect, later hanging, somewhat flattened and apiculate.
