    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the geographic center of "Estrada Transamazônica" (road BR-230) between Marabá, Pará and Estreito, Maranhao. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located road BR-230 which connects the cities of Marabá and Estreito. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure the segment of BR-230 between the two cities, beginning at where BR-230 meets the approximate geographic center of Marabá to where BR-230 meets the approximate geographic center of the city of Estreito (junction of BR-230 and BR-226/BR-010), then halved this distance to approximate the location of the midpoint of this segment of road. Measured to approximately this calculated distance from one extreme of the segment toward the midpoint; used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint of this segment of road. Input coordinates, linear extent (114164 m.), and measurement error (1 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
