Description
A tall shrub, with whitish stellate-tomentose stems. Leaves very large, 5-7 lobed, stellate-pubescent on both sides, beset with stout spines on the midrib beneath and the winged petiole. Stem armed with strong, straight or hooked spines. Flowers not seen. Berries as large as marbles, green, covered with a yellowish tomentum. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
