Habitat
Cloud forest along old logging road; in full sunlight. With Crinodendron tucumanum, Podocarpus rusbyi, Siparuna muricata, and a few fields of vegetable crops (Solanum tuberosum, Vicia faba).

Description
Shrub 1 m. tall, in full sunlight. Corolla violet purple, especially on the outside, nearly white within; anthers yellow with purple tinge. One ripe, globose, orange fruit seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
