Woody vine; leaves rugose, firmly membranous, dark green above, yellow green below with yellow-brown midrib; fruit globose, pale green, 1.5 cm. diam.; corolla lavender-purple; anthers orange-yellow; calyx green with brown-purple hairs. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
