Habitat
Very flat, sandy, subject to occasional flooding, thin forest and roadsides with many Solanaceae.

Description
Shrub 4 m. tall, the trunk with stout broad-based spines; mostly just young plants with large, deeply divided leaves, dark green above, white-tomentose below. Flowers and fruits few; corolla very pale blue, nearly white; fruit green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
