Habitat
Common at least 1000-2000 m. altitude.

Description
Tree to 4 m. Trunk short or up to 2 m., coarsely spined. Leaves dark shiny green above, dull white pilose beneath. Petals white with irregularly purple margins. Stamens yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
