Tree. Arboretum Accession No. 687-57 no. a, grafted plants by Arnold Arboretum, and originally from S. B. Parsons & Sons, Flushing, NY, 19 Mar 1883. These plants have large cones. "Macedonian pine," native to southern Europe. Range: Albania, western Bulgaria, northern Serbia. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
