Description
Tree. Arboretum Accession No. 687-57 no. b., originally from Parsons Nursery, Flushing, NY, in 1883. Cones unusally long for this species, cones abundant in this northern climate in Illinois. "Balkan pine," native to Albania, western Bulgaria, northern Greece, and Serbia. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
