    Aquatic herb with long horizontal submerged shoots to 2 m., spreading from central stock. Flowering stems erect to ca. 15 cm. Sepals green, tinged reddish. Corolla yellow with pale spur & darker boss to lower lip. Young fruit spherical, bright glossy green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
