    grergarious. Pileus 25-45 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, moist, glabrous, dark brown (7E7) on disc, paler brown (6C-D6-5) toward margin, even at margin. Flesh white, thin, With mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, crowded, white, unchanging with even edges. Stipe 2-3 cm long, 4-6 mm thick, subclavate to clavate, compressed to almost cleft, finely fibrillose, white above then progressively yellow to orange to orange brown below (toward base), with white rhizomorphs. CTAB and spore print on tin foil. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
