Description
Pileus 3-7 cm broad, broadly conic to convex to plano-convex with a low broad umbo, moist, greasy, hygrophanous, brownish orange (5C5) on disc, grayish yellow (4B4-3) toward margin. Flesh up to 5 mm thick, white, unchanging, with a pungent subraphanoid odor and taste. Lamellae barely adnexed, very crowded, white at first, developing a pale flesh pink tint with age, with edges even to uneven. Stipe 6-12 cm long, 5-9 mm broad, ±equal or becoming slightly broader toward base with an abrupt, bent taper that has appearances of being subradicating, glabrous and shiny, concolorous with pileus, fibrous-twisted, with pithy, white interior that becomes hollow. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
