Montane cloud forest. Quercus rapurahuensis forest. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
Pileus 3-6.5 cm broad, plano-convex, with an obscure umbo, dry, radially appressed fibrillose, cinnamon brown (6D6) on the disc, yellow brown (6C5) to pale orange (5A3) toward the margin, with even, nonstriate margin. Flesh white, 3 mm thick, unchanging, with odor similar to spearmint, with mild taste. Lamellae adnexed, crowded, narrow (2 mm broad), pale orange (5A3) unchanging, with fimbriate edges. Stipe 5-12 cm long, 5-8 mm broad, subclavate to clavate, glabrous with scattered fine white pruina, sometimes twisted, with fibrous cortex; interior pithy, white. With spore print. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
