  • Habitat

    Low, white hills of tuffaceous sedimentary materials. Community of caespitose plants with scattered juniper and Artemisia nova. Soil with 3" of hard vesicular crust of clay loam texture over coarse sandy clay loam, violently effervescent with 10% HCL, pH 8.2-8.4, many quartzite gravels and cobbles on soil.
