No. 8318, collected May 23, in the foothills west of Bishop,
Inyo county, in coarse granite sand, the plants prostrate. Plen-
tiful at one place, elevation about 5000 feet. The type was col-
lected “on the low hills of the Spokan River.” Determined by
Professor Greene.
