    Small tree to 2.5 m. Leaves somewhat chartaceous, dark green above, pale beneath. Buds with mealy brown tomentum. Sepals pale brownish yellow. Petals bright yellow. Inner petal small, cream with pinkish spots. Pod hard, green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
