    Small playa areas northwest of lava ridges. Slope 0%. Community: Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Elymus triticoides. Also present: Phlox hoodii and Astragalus filipes. Plants scattered along edges of the playas. Soil moderately deep silt.
